The Defense Technology Cluster seeks to become the recognized source for information and resources in the greater San Antonio area in the for defense (including military operations and sustainment) and technology talent resulting in the creation of jobs.

The Defense Technology Cluster will serve as the primary source for leveraging information and resources in order to provide solutions for requirements generators from the federal agencies to the commercial markets. The DTC will create an awareness of technical capabilities in and around the Greater San Antonio Metropolitan area for defense and technology entities and to promote the revenue generation by these companies

Membership in the DTC shall consist of representatives with Defense Technology related firms, governmental organizations, academic institutions and other interested parties in the Greater San Antonio Area
